Today we went through and did 5 different activities. We painted pumpkins, played with play dough, played with Legos, made necklaces with pasta and straws and finally weaved pipe cleaners. All were different in there developmental enchantment. For example, the pasta necklaces had to be strung with a piece of yarn which is difficult and requires delicate finger movement.

This week we designed our own day care center with assigned partners. My partner was a girl named Ashley I've never met before. But we worked very well together and finished our project early. Now we get to go to the day care center :) I bet it will be fun!

This week, we did not have school on main day so we had a 4 day week. In Tuesday we were introduced to our project to create a toy with our table. On Wednesday we finished the project! We created O' bear. I think a lot o people enjoyed it. Yesterday we created lesson plans for day cares. I created a fall fun lesson plan. In this plan the children are introduced to colors and objects associated with fall :)

Babies can be over stimulated with toys and words and other things. I did not know that. Also babies typically like simpler toys and activities for the reason of over stimulation or being overwhelmed. The also typically like things that they can manipulate. When they can manipulate something they learn much faster an experience the toy much better
