This week we did a toddler day care plan. I was partnered with Amelia and we did a pretty good job :) now we are working on another project that has to deal with careers that deal with children. We have to pick five different careers and I'm not sure which ones to choose yet. I will probably go with a vet, and then find some other jobs!
The jump between infants and toddlers is crazy, there is a huge difference. The requirements for a toddler and an infant is insane. Toddlers are very independent now, but infants are practically babies still. Toddlers can go to bathroom on the toilet or aka potty trained but infants aren't. Simple things like that really make a big difference.
I was scheduled to get the baby for December 4th, but unfortunately I can't take it. I have to take it the next week because I work. I will get to be with Mariah who also had the baby that weekend as well which is pretty funny. I'm sort of nervous to take the baby because I can't say no to working. But oh well I will figure it out :)

We made turkeys and also a child schedule for a day car. When a child is at a day care they require a lot of attention and tedious. They require snacks, lunch and breakfast. Which isn't bad but the parents need to know a set schedule, so you have to know what you're doing every single day.
This week we did a toddler toy design, chance and I created a toy that was designed after a frog called hopper. It bounced while the child was secruly strapped on. It was pretty fun!!! We also watched inside out but I wasn't here to watch it and I was really disappointed that I couldn't see it.

Today we went through and did 5 different activities. We painted pumpkins, played with play dough, played with Legos, made necklaces with pasta and straws and finally weaved pipe cleaners. All were different in there developmental enchantment. For example, the pasta necklaces had to be strung with a piece of yarn which is difficult and requires delicate finger movement.

This week we designed our own day care center with assigned partners. My partner was a girl named Ashley I've never met before. But we worked very well together and finished our project early. Now we get to go to the day care center :) I bet it will be fun!
